Shipping Terms

We offer FREE SHIPPING for orders above $79 in the contiguous USA, with some exceptions. Gift cards do not count towards the free shipping threshold. The cart value after discounts is used to determine whether your order passes the free shipping threshold. We use UPS Ground Service. 

EXCEPTIONS TO FREE SHIPPING:

  • Orders below $79 incur a $9.99 shipping fee
  • UT and ID: We only ship there during the cold period (approx. Oct - Mar)
  • We do NOT ship to PO Boxes
  • We do NOT ship to Hawaii, Alaska or any other overseas US territory

    Orders ship in line with the schedule in the table below. Please double-check your shipping estimate with your zip code on the cart page. Cut-off is at 12pm EDT.

    The times in the table above are estimates and may change. Shipping may be delayed by high volume, holidays, severe weather, or if you live in a remote location. We ship from Pinecrest, FL 33156.

    We ship in recycled boxes WITHOUT COOLING to avoid the pollution and high shipping fees caused by inliners and dry-ice. Sourdough's acid naturally keeps bread fresh during transit. Bread MUST BE FROZEN UPON RECEIPT for optimal shelf life for up to 9 months. We are not responsible for spoilage caused by failure to freeze bread upon receipt.

    We do NOT GUARANTEE SHIPPING TIMES, because neither do our carriers. The shipping times we state during the check-out process are estimates. Shipping can take longer, e.g. if you live in a rural area, or if there are delays caused by high volume or events outside of our control. 

    Customers are responsible for providing a CORRECT DELIVERY ADDRESS and a safe and easily ACCESSIBLE DELIVERY LOCATION. We are not responsible for spoiled, lost or stolen packages due to customer's failure to comply with these requirements.

    There are NO RETURNS, MODIFICATIONS OR CANCELATIONS once an order has shipped, because we are shipping perishable items that cannot be resold. 

    Please INSPECT YOUR BREAD upon arrival. In the unlikely event that your product arrives with damage, please send an email with photos to info@breadvillage.com on the day of arrival, and we will work with you towards a solution. We do need photos to file a damage claim with the carrier.

    We send packages without "recipient signature request" in line with e-commerce standard. That means the carrier is NOT REQUIRED TO HAND THE PACKAGE TO A PERSON. If you would like signature request service on your order, then please send an email to info@breadvillage.com before placing the order. The carriers charge an extra fee for signature request, and we will pass that charge on to you.
